The WASA group and their employees celebrated the 20-year existence of the Thuringian production location of Neubrunn together with their families at the end of September.

 

WASA UNIPLAST^® and WASA UNIPLAST^® ULTRA as well as the softwood boards WASA SOFTWOOD are produced in Neubrunn.
In addition to this production a seperate section within the enterprise group deals with the production of polyurethane cast-resin moulds WASA WETCAST.

 

At late-summer temperature of 28 degrees the machines stood still exceptionally for during one day. The company yard made room for a big tent in which about 180 people celebrated the big event.
Within the scope of the speech the Managing Partner Peter Webel looked back at the last twenty years and appreciated the readiness for unprecedented duty of the whole team since beginning. For ten years of seniority the Neubrunn employees Renate Schäfer, Manuela Thalheim, Michael Debertshäuser, Dieter Weisheit, Peter Schweder, Thomas Fuchs and Heiko Hanf were distinguished. Already 20 years active in the Thuringian work and therefore men of the first hour are Hans-Ulrich Fritz, Peter Geis and Wolfgang Rust.

 

Heinz Bechtold, Principal Shareholder and Managing Partner, praised in an emotional speech the diligence of the persons celebrating an anniversary same as all other employees in Neubrunn and Mossautal. The order situation, as Bechtold put in his speech, is excellent and prepared WASA very well for the future with a well-positioned team and a high-quality product assortment.
